Andy and Dustin planned a snow cave camp out with the scouts this past weekend. They went up to Cottonwood Canyon. When I heard that he was doing this I thought he was NUTS! Who would want to sleep under a pile of snow! They had a fun time and I think they stayed warm. It took them 5 minutes of jumping (scouts included) and poking holes through it to make it cave in.
They piled the snow that they dug out on top of the cave. It measured 4 feet high and ten feet around.

ReplyDeleteYou should tell andy to share stories of both of their winter campouts. Bens scouts went sledding in a canoe with 7 boys in it. It was going about 40 mph!! CRAZY!
